Women’s Network Region 1 Childcare Grant
The UFCW Women’s Network Region 1 Childcare Grant is available to help eligible union members with the cost of childcare while working outside the home.
Who Can Apply
UFCW or RWDSU members in good standing for at least one year
Members with children enrolled in daycare, before-care, or after-care
Parents who work outside the home
Childcare must be provided by a state-licensed provider or one on file with the IRS
Prior-year grant recipients are not eligible this year
How to Apply
Complete the application and submit the required documentation, including:
Most recent 1040 tax form
Proof of childcare payments and expenses
Deadline
📅 Applications must be emailed to your Union Representative by September 30, 2026.

Grant awards are taxable and are paid directly to the childcare provider.
