Happy Women’s History Month!

Let's celebrate women workers and their vital role in the labor movement. Throughout history, women have fought for fair wages, benefits, and union recognition in courtrooms, on picket lines, and in legislative spaces. Women of color have been pioneers in advocating for both racial and economic justice. From post-Civil War Black women organizing for fair pay to leading movements in textile mill and garment industries, their efforts laid the groundwork for labor laws we benefit from today. When women stand united with their union peers, the labor movement thrives. This month, let's not just celebrate, but also learn from the past and strive to create a future free of discrimination and exploitation.
